About the role

At GeneralMind, you'll be the tip of the spear - responsible for opening doors to the companies we want to work with. You'll research accounts, write sharp outbound, and book qualified meetings for our sales team.

This isn't a "smile and dial" SDR seat. You'll work directly with founders and marketing to shape our outbound playbook from near-zero, figure out what messaging lands, and feed signal back into how we go to market. You'll sell into complex, operational buyers (think supply chain, logistics, procurement) and need to understand their world well enough to earn the first conversation.

We are building an AI-native sales motion - meaning you'll use AI tools daily to research faster, write better, and prioritise smarter. If you're the kind of person who already has Claude or ChatGPT open in another tab, you'll feel at home.

What you will do

  • Build and own the top of our sales funnel across international markets, generating qualified pipeline that converts directly to revenue.

  • Research and identify high-fit target accounts and the right stakeholders within them.

  • Write and run multi-channel outbound sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone).

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads through smart discovery conversations.

  • Book meetings for AEs (and occasionally founders) with C-level and senior operational buyers.

  • Help define our ICP, messaging, and outbound playbook partnering with marketing and founders to test messaging, iterate on positioning, and share what you're hearing from the market.

  • Keep CRM data clean and pipeline reporting accurate.

  • Continuously experiment with new channels, angles, and tools.

What we are looking for

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in a high-performance environment - B2B sales / SDR, consulting, VC, a fast-paced startup, or a commercial role where you had to be scrappy.

  • Excellent written communication.

  • You pick up complex products and business contexts quickly.

  • Structured and proactive - you don't wait to be told what to do next, and you take ownership before anyone asks.

  • Resilience and energy: outbound is hard, and you are motivated by the challenge, not discouraged by it.

  • Genuinely curious about AI tools and already integrating them into how you work.

  • A builder who wants to create the playbook, not just follow it - and a team player who thinks no task is beneath them.

  • Fluent English; German is a strong plus.

  • You want to grow into a closing role.
