About mkind
mkind is an early-stage robotics startup on a mission to automate the hardest, most painful manual industrial tasks. We're building a fully flexible, intelligent robotic work cell for surface finishing, welding, and coating, so that manufacturers across Europe no longer have to rely on scarce, difficult, and often harmful manual labor for these jobs. We're a small, fast-moving team building something real in the physical world.
About the Role
We're looking for a Founder Associate to work directly with our CEO and founding team as we build mkind. This is a role for someone who wants to eventually start their own company and wants a front-row seat to what that actually takes: fundraising, industrial sales, hiring, and the dozens of other things that come with building a company from scratch.
This can be an internship or your first job after graduating. Your degree doesn't matter to us. What matters is that you're humble, hungry, smart, and genuinely interested in robotics and the future of manufacturing in Europe.
You'll work closely with Michael and the founding team day to day, with direct exposure to how an early-stage startup actually gets built.
What You'll Do
Help drive industrial sales, including customer research, outreach, and supporting deals from first contact to close
Support hiring across the team, from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews
Help preparing the next fundraising round
Jump into whatever the company needs that week, from operations to research to customer-facing work
Work directly with the founding team on strategic priorities and get visibility into how an early-stage startup is actually run
What We're Looking For
Humble, hungry, and smart, with a strong bias for action
Genuinely interested in robotics, hardware, and the future of manufacturing in Europe
Comfortable with ambiguity and picking up new things quickly
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Any degree or academic background is welcome, this is not about your major
