We're hiring an Account Manager to help us deepen relationships with our growing base of pharma and biotech clients. As a key member of our Sales team, you'll own a portfolio of accounts and be responsible for ensuring customers achieve meaningful outcomes with the Katalyze AI platform — from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
You'll work closely with our customers — scientists, operations leaders, and quality teams at pharma manufacturers — to understand their goals, navigate challenges, and demonstrate the ongoing value of AI-driven biomanufacturing. This is a high-impact role where you'll be directly contributing to Katalyze AI's growth while helping clients bring life-saving medicines to market faster and more efficiently.
Own and grow a portfolio of pharma and biotech accounts, driving renewals and expansion revenue
Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders including scientists, quality leads, and operations directors
Conduct regular business reviews to align on customer goals and demonstrate ROI
Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure clients are getting value from the platform
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and execute on them in collaboration with the Sales team
Serve as the voice of the customer internally — surface insights that inform product and go-to-market strategy
Manage the full post-sale commercial cycle including contract negotiations and renewals
3+ years of B2B account management or sales experience, ideally in SaaS or life sciences
Track record of meeting or exceeding retention and expansion targets
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage technical and executive stakeholders
Excellent communication skills — you can translate complex AI or biotech concepts into clear business value
Self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple accounts
Experience working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment is a plus
Background in pharma, biotech, or life sciences is highly valued
Familiarity with GxP environments, manufacturing operations, or regulated industries
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Knowledge of AI/ML products or data platforms
French language skills (an asset for Quebec-based clients)
