Katalyze AI is a fast-growing AI-driven biotech platform company on a mission to make life-saving drugs accessible and affordable for everyone. Our AI Agents help pharmaceutical and biotech companies increase production efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste. We're a team of humble, fast-moving, and curious craftspeople working at the intersection of science and AI.
We're looking for a hands-on growth marketing leader who can build and own the full marketing function at Katalyze AI. You'll be the first dedicated marketer, working directly with the CEO and partnering with agencies to drive pipeline and brand awareness in the B2B enterprise AI/biotech space.
This is a player-coach role — not a pure strategist, and not a pure individual contributor. We need someone who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to execute campaigns directly and managing agencies or a small team to scale output. The ideal candidate has done both: built the strategy and pressed the buttons themselves. If you need a full team to execute anything, this isn't the right fit. If you thrive in resource-constrained, high-ownership environments where you can move fast, this is your role.
Own and execute the full marketing mix: outbound, inbound, content, field, ABM, and paid advertising
Build scalable demand generation programs that drive qualified pipeline for the sales team
Lead Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy targeting enterprise accounts in biopharma and advanced manufacturing
Manage relationships with marketing agencies and contractors to extend execution capacity
Develop content strategy including thought leadership, case studies, whitepapers, and technical blogs
Plan and execute field marketing events, industry conferences, and webinars
Manage ad spend across LinkedIn, Google, and other channels with clear ROI accountability
Establish marketing KPIs and reporting cadence; own the marketing budget
5–10 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with the ability to both lead strategically and execute hands-on
Proven track record of building qualified pipeline at a startup or early-stage company (Series A/B ideal)
Experience running campaigns end-to-end — outbound sequences, content, events, paid ads — not just directing agencies
Experience marketing to technical buyers (engineers, scientists, data teams)
Strong understanding of ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase, or similar)
Regulated industry experience is a strong plus: pharma, biopharma, banking, healthcare, or other compliance-heavy sectors — you understand the longer sales cycles, the enterprise procurement process, and how to build trust with cautious buyers
AI or data tooling experience is a significant plus: you've marketed to or within the AI/ML/data ecosystem (e.g., Glean, Labelbox, Hebia, or similar companies)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment where you own outcomes, not just activity
